She coauthored, with her friend Jon Wagner the Associate Director of the CalArts MFA Writing Program, the forthcoming book titled, Television at the Movies: Cinematic and Critical Approaches to American Broadcasting. Maclean talks about intermedia studies and her experience with the process of publishing.
