| Description | This introductory symposium presentation presented by, Stewart Donaldson the dean of the School of Behavioral and Organizational Sciences at Claremont Graduate University, examines longitudinal trends in obtaining psychology and other social science degrees in both undergraduate and graduate education and the extent that such education is applied in the workforce. It further discusses current and potential areas where psychology may be applied, such as work and family balance, learning and education, psychology and law, interpersonal expectations, overcoming racial and ethnic disparities, health promotion and disease prevention. Additionally, Donaldson posits that the acquisition of education in psychology and learning to apply it to daily living can help make one a better person. |
