Description |
Negative number 229. Envelope labeled "IX, 43 J" with an arrow pointing right for horizontal fibers. Photo has six labels, the first, in the upper left corner, is partially obscured. It reads "IX, 45" then an arrow pointing right to "43" then "DA" with an arrow pointing right to "43 Dab" followed by "Db" with an arrow pointing right, then "+1 blank". The second label, located in the upper right corner, reads "J IX 43" with an arrow pointing right. The other four labels, along the left side of the slide, indicate four points where the papyrus was stiched into the binding of the codex. Papyrus fragment constituting page 43 of Codex 9. |
