Book of Genesis, How Do We Assess Them?
Tammi Schneider, Professor of Religion, CGU
Wednesday, March 7th, 4: 15 pm
By using a method she has named " verbing the character"
where each character is evaluated based upon their description,
places where they appear as the subject of a verb, and
where they are the object either of a verb or a prepositional
phrase, Professor Schneider will review many of the major
female characters from the Book of Genesis.

Honnold/ Mudd Library is now showcasing the
Braxton Collection of Popular Literature for
your reading pleasure. It comprises over 200
titles by bestselling authors such as Tony
Hillerman, Sue Grafton, Stephen King, and
Dean Koontz, and represents a wide range of
genres including science fiction, mystery, and
horror novels. New titles are added monthly.
The collection recognizes Henrietta Bush Braxton’s three decades
of valued service to the Libraries. Henrietta was an avid
reader, and it is hoped that this collection of contemporary fiction
and nonfiction honors her dedication and her spirit.
Additions to the collection are supported by the Braxton Memorial
Fund, established to support a recreational reading collection.
