Community Mapping: A Hands-On Approach

Learn how to make a custom demographics thematic map for any county in the US. Map a community and show which neighborhoods have the highest concentrations of numerous demographic variables such as poverty, income, race, age, ancestry, educational attainment, etc. Attendance at a past Intro to GIS session is recommended but not required.

Sacred Text Conference Archives
The CCDL is pleased to announce a new collection of videos from the School of Religion at Claremont Graduate University. The First Annual Conference of Religions in Conversation was an exploration of passages addressing relationships with insiders and outsiders, and points of inclusivity and exclusivity, within the sacred texts of six religions: Islam, Judaism, Christianity, Zoroastrianism, LDS/Mormonism, and Hinduism.
