Torah
scroll
was
given
to a
boy
in a
concentration
camp
and was
brought
on
board
the
Columbia
Spacecraft
. She

about
how
astronaut
Ilan
Ramon
carried
the
scroll
with him
during
Columbia’s
final
mission
in
2003
.
Rouss
discusses
other
children’s
books
she has
written
and that she
teaches
kindergarten
at a
Jewish
school
in
Los
Angeles
. She
describes
what
happened
to the
left
wing
of the
Columbia
shuttle
, and how
America
dealt
with the
tragedy
of the
spaceship
exploding
. She
ends
the
interview
by
discussing
how
religious
tolerance
is
important
, and
talks
about
the
conflict
between
the
Israeli
people
and the
Jews
.
