Jasper Fforde discusses his book, “The Well of Lost Plots.” He begins by explaining the plot of the novel, which follows the heroine Thursday Next, who is a detective who specializes in cases involving the protection of the plots and characters of well-known books, which are affected and altered by people in the real world. In this book, the third in a series, Thursday must investigate her husband’s disappearance. Fforde goes on to discuss some of the famous characters that make appearances in the book such as Ms. Havisham from “Great Expectations” and explain in great detail the world that he has created within the series.
