Judy Stone discusses her book, “Not Quite a Memoir.” She begins by explaining that the book is based on the essays and interviews she has done throughout her career as a critic for several major newspapers. Stone describes how she first began writing at an early age and also shares memories of her brother I.F. Stone. She goes on to discuss several of the people whom she writes about in her book, such as, Czeslaw Milosz, Thomas Keneally, E.L. Doctorow, Joseph E. Levine, and Amos Oz. Also in this interview she gives her thoughts and opinions on several movies such as, “Schindler’s List” and “The Night Porter.” |
