Mark Frost discusses his book, “The Greatest Game Ever Played.” He begins by talking about one of the earliest golfers Harry Vardon and how he became the first British champion in golf. He discusses the life of another famous player, Francis Ouimet. He describes some of the early rules of golfing, and how a man had to stop caddying at age 16 to be considered a professional. Frost talks about how Vardon contracted tuberculosis which resulted in a permanent hand tremor for the golfer. He ends the interview by discussing other books he has written and how he is primarily a novelist. |
