(CE:3b-4a)
‘ABDALLAH IBN MUSA. Abdallah is known only from a note left in a manuscript (National Library, Paris, Arabe 107, fol. 126v), which states that he was a deacon and that the manuscript belonged to him. The manuscript was copied by a Copt and completed on 16 Kanun II 1696 of the Greeks/A.D. 1385, suggesting that the copy was made in Syria. It contains the Coptic Horologion and the Song of the Three Young Men in the Furnace (fols. 1-132r), an anonymous commentary on John 20:17 (fols. 132-33), two pieces for the feast of the Epiphany (fols. 134-62), and the story of Job (fols. 162-88v).
