Transcription	The Clarendon Press Oxford 27 Sept 1915 My dear Sir, I have been in correspondence with Mr. William Archer about an article on the Elizabethan Playhouse for a work to be entitled Shakespeare's England, in which, I understand, you collaborated with him. I X herewith typed X of the article for revision: I have made suggestions here and there myself. No doubt you will have additions to make. Mr. Archer tells me that he will write to you and he will no doubt pass on to you what I have already told him as to the necessity for compression and as to the date when the article should be returned.
