Description	In a letter to John Moody, Garrick describes a letter to a Mr. Swan and references the doings of theatre performers James William Dodd and Mary Bulkley in Dublin. Garrick also mentions his preparations for a Jubilee. He tells Moody: "If you see any thing delightful in yr. travels pray give me notice of it." In a postscript, Garrick informs Moody that he is "quite recover'd." While letter gives a date of "8th 1774" notes with letter give a tentative month of September. Letter contains a watermark. Image four scan has been rotated 180 degrees.

Transcription	Adelphi (September?) 8th 1774 Dear Moody Inclosed you have a letter for Mr. Swan--you will be happy to know a worthy sensible Man, & who was formerly of our Profession- he would have been an honour to any--Sad doings in Ireland--Dodd has been much ye worse for his voyage, as I suppose he is not ye better for his Intrigue; he is Money-bound in Dublin & I shall release him--Mum
