TO ALL TO WHOM these Presents shall come David Garrick
of the Adelphi Buildings in the Strand in the County of Middlesex
Esquire/ surviving Partner of James Lacy late of parish of St.
George Hanover Square in the said County of Middlesex
Esquire deceased late Proprietors and Managers of the Theatre Royal
Drury Lane/ Send greeting Whereare John Moody of the
said Theatre Royal Gentleman
by his Bond or Obligation bearing date on or about the fifteenth Day
of March One thousand seven hundred and sixty became bound unto
the said James Lacy and David Garrick in the Penal Sum of Two
hundred Pounds with a Condition thereunder written to make the
same Bond void on payment of One hundred Pounds and Interest in
manner therein mentioned And Whereas the said Principal Sum
of One hundred Pounds and all Interest for the same was on or about
the Twenty first Day of December one thoussand seven hundred and
sixty five fully paid of and discharged but the said Bond being then
lost or mislaid and has not since been found to be delivered up and
cancelled Now know ye that the said David Garrick knowing and
ackowledging that the said Principal Money and Interest was paid
by the said John Moody to him and the said James Lacy in
his life time Hath remised released and quit claimed and by these
Presents Doth remise release and forever quit claim unto the said
John Moody his Heirs Executors and Administrators the said
cited Bond or Obligation and all Sum and Sums of Money due
or payable thereon to the said James Lacy and David Garrick or
either of them their or either of their Executors Administrators or
Assigns and all Action and Actions Cause and Causes of Actions
