Description	Edmund Kean writes in the third person to a Mr. Sims to tell him that he "has no objection to subscribe to the Dramatic Censors" and that Sims "is at Liberty to put his name on the list." Letter contains a handwritten notation by a second hand which gives a short history of Kean's return from the United States and death in 1833. Letter is pasted in pieces to sheet. On back of sheet is pasted a portrait of Kean as Richard III in Shakespeare's play by the same name. Credits to the artist and engraver can be seen near bottom of the portrait. Also on back is another handwritten notation. Letter contains a partially covered watermark from 1813.
