Dear Sir
I herewith send you the letters I could
not lay my hand upon yesterday - I trust, nay
I have no doubt but that you will apreciate the
feeling which has induced me to lay these letters
before you previously to their being consigned to
the sale room for public auction, as I am shortly
going to dispose of my extensive collection of Theatrical
and other autographs in that way. They have been seen
by no one since they came into my possession.
One of the Russell family possesses the largest collection
of letters of your Late Father, some years ago I sold him
my Kean collection, which I had been for years getting
together, and which were hi ghly interesting, for Fifty Pounds.
and I remember some two or three years ago there was
a letter of your Mothers sold for the extraordinary sum
