Transcription	Royal Hotel Plymouth 12 Oct 1859 Dear Sir A report has reached me that you have taken the Sheffield Theatre. If so, would it suit you, as it would me, to enter into an engagement for three nights in that town commencing on Monday 2nd. January. Your speedy reply will much oblige Yours faithfully C. Kean At Exeter we turned the Orchestra into stalls & the stage Doors into Boxes. The prospect here equally good.
