My dear Mrs Siddons
I have the pleasure of introducing to your better acquaintance my old friend & schoolfellow, Mr. Wm Scott, Surgeon of the Repulse. I am sure you will be glad. to see him & to make him & Henry good friends before they go on board. Mr Scott is as fond of mathematics & drawing as if they had been his studies instead of his amusements, & has just drawn a beautiful view of Napoleon's tomb in Miss Cox's album -Henry & he will like each other when fairly acquainted. Believe
me My Dear Mrs S-
Yours very truly
