Dear Sir,
To one who has exerted his talents so successfully in my behalf and to the son of Mrs Siddons, I will not address myself as to a stranger. I feel much gratified that you & Mrs. H. Siddons should think the Beacon deserving of your attention & likely to succeed on the Eding Theatre; and there is nothing which I shall not be happy to do, that may make your task of preparation less difficult. It will indeed give me great pleasure to be of any use on the occasion. Have the goodness then to write to me again, and let me know without reserve whatever you would wish me to do.--There is a collection of Highland airs,
