A name belonging to the fairest she, 'Ihat ever figured in a pedigree. A name so graceful and poetical That bards can both Eli zabeth and. Betty call. And if hard pushed can venture farther yet ' E'en d.own to Betsy, or to humble Bet. At once so elegant, so playful and so pretty Venus's christian name, I'm sure was -Betty. Bllt hold! -To dwell so long upon a name and leave the owner waiting! Fie! for shame!
