~{y dear Sirl d
My memory being very bad I wo not go further in what I sayd before you in London about the Birthplace of ~fs Siddons and especially as it seemd to create surprize in all present. The inclosed will serve to show the fact and you may venture to make wagers to any amo~t on the subject as .r el at ed therein -The people of Drecon are much hurt at her Denial of the truth -
I can go a deal further and trace her in the Service of the Cliffords which she was obligd to leave from ~er invincible propensity to the Stage
\
Accept the best wishes of all this family and my thanks for your invariable kindnesses to ,me -
I am' yours most ·truly
