Rably Tuesday Night Dear Sir I had the pleasure of yours and must do you the justice to acknowledge that you tqok all the pains in your power to persuade Miss Nosseter & me to go with you to Ireland, that you offered her L500 sallary & L800 to me with two clear Benefits, which though we thought an exceeding handsome pro proposal does not amount to near the sum we receive here by means of our Benefits, which thro' the favour & partiality of some great Friends, who have taken us under their protection, have been so considerable that we cannot have any hopee of equalling them in Ireland. This I can readily convince you of by laying before you our accounts of the last Season. I must observe that M~ Victor has fallen into a small Mistake in his letter, which I presume was occasion'd by haste, as their is nothing like it in yours
