Description	Barry writes to Sowdon apologizing for not replying to the letter sooner. Barry congratulates Sowdon success in acquiring the manger's friendship and asks for Sowdon's opinion on a second Playhouse in Dublin and whether he's still on friendly terms with Mr. Sheridan. Barry plans on going to Dublin next year becuase he thinks he is greatly improved. He also talks about some problems he'd had with Mr Rich and Mrs Cibber and the alteration of paychecks.

Transcription	2007-04 Dr Sir Upon my word and Honour I knew nothing of the Letter you left for me on your leaving London, till told by Mr Jones, some days after his arrival here, that you had complaind of my taking no notice of it. I immediately made the strictest inquiry, & to my great surprize found it in the cover which enclosLd the part of the Bastard. -You may remember it was left at the time I was at Tunbridge. I am heartily glad to hear of your success. I give you joy of the Managers Friendship &warmly wish it may continue.
