I received yours of April 17th. I was happy to hear you were all so well, I am well and have been since last summer I have been here since Dec.1st and have working at my Trade & having charge of a portion of the work we have been smelting ore building Home furnaces & I have had Eight Dollars per day all the time, Board at the best Hotel at thirteen dollars per week and Dress respectably. You seem to have an idea that we are all a rough set of people here_But you are only mistaken we have a class of people here quite as good a they have anywhare we have a number of families at the house five I think and several children I have been so situated that I could not Board myself conveniently, Secret Canon is nine miles from here, I could not
